Hello everyone!

Just a friendly reminder to join us in two days!

Please grab your lunch and join us (virtually) for the second “HI Pulse” lunchtime webinar of the 14-15 academic year!

Thursday, October 16th at 12:30 noon ET, presented by Mr.Phil Cartagena<http://hipulse.wordpress.com/speakers/#c>, Sr. Analyst ICD-10 Program Manager at Partners HealthCare and Adjunct Professor at Boston University.

Presentation Title:
Leveraging the NLM Map from SNOMED CT to ICD-10-CM to Facilitate Adoption of ICD-10-CM<http://hipulse.wordpress.com/>

by Mr. Phil Cartagena

The presentation mirrors the order and structure of a paper submitted to JAMIA titled, “Leveraging the NLM Map from SNOMED CT to ICD-10-CM to Facilitate Adoption of ICD-10-CM.” The presentation provides a “crash course” in the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) while demonstrating an approach to acquire ICD-10-CM codes through web services to facilitate any medical application’s transition to ICD-10.
