The State Library of Ohio invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Executive Secretary to the State Librarian's Office (Administrative Professional 4) located in Columbus, Ohio.

  *   Manages incoming mail, phone calls, and appointment requests for the State Librarian.
  *   Assists Governmental Affairs Coordinator with National Library Legislative Day.
  *   Schedules and coordinates library visits for the State Librarian. May accompany on visits; some overnight travel may be required.
  *   Orders supplies, arranges travel, schedules meetings, drafts correspondence, and fields phone calls.
  *   Communicates with internal and external customers in person, on the phone, and electronically.

Starting Salary
$19.19/hour

Minimum Qualifications
Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Work experience in a library setting is preferred.
