[OPLINLIST] Learning Express Revisited

Stephen Hedges has confirmed what I had feared, that we will lose the
Assessment and Training component of Learning Express Hub as it appears on
the Workforce Skills for the 21st Century and via The State Library of
Ohio.

In a time when the governor and legislature is pushing retraining and
improving job skills, it just does not make sense to drop this database.
Our rural community depends on access to these training tools to hone
skills in everything from computer use to studying for college prep tests
to training for certification in a number of fields.

When we provide computer training, we highlight these resources and folks
are thrilled to learn about them. We will be hard-pressed to find resources
as organized and as easily navigable as these are.

If anyone has any insights to another resource (besides YouTube and
googling for training materials), please let me know. I am very
disappointed at the loss of this database.
