Dear Folks,

Today, the Obama Administration announced a new initiative—ConnectHome--to expand broadband access to public housing. ALA is a named partner, recognizing libraries’ critical roles in digital literacy and enabling access to the varied services on the internet. The program has been widely reported in the past 45 minutes:
