The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce a webinar on OhioMeansJobs.com for Ohio library staff. The webinar, hosted by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), will be on November 17th at 3:00. Through OhioMeansJobs.com, ODJFS is streamlining and integrating services and resources among Ohio's multiple workforce programs and agencies. The system offers individuals the ability to review eligibility criteria for multiple workforce programs, enhanced resume building tools, resume rating, budget calculator, educational providers, build & save multiple career plans, view Ohio in-demand occupations, and the ability to access thousands of assessments, training guides/books and tutorials.

OhioMeansJobs.com gives employers free access to HR tools and millions of resumes that Monster normally charges to use. Employers can also post openings, with no registration required! OhioMeansJobs.com offers additional information on apprenticeships; tax reporting, labor market, job description writer, and workforce information for small, independent, and large businesses.   In 2014 OMJ was enhanced to include a portal for Ohio's K-12 student population in coordination with Ohio Department of Education.
