First Adult Summer Reading
NEO held the first face to face Adult Summer Reading Program last thursday.  The attendees networked with their peers and returned with valable ideas for their library.  Thank you to our presenters Linette Porter-Metler, Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, Melissa Ziminisky, Kent Free Library, Holly Klingler, NEO and Janet Ingraham Dwyer of the State Library.

Toastmasters Can Help You Too!

I am now more aware of how I communicate with others and choose my words carefully.  I have eliminated filler words when I facilate and conduct presentations.  Toastmasters has given me the confidence and removed the nerves.  You too can take advantage of this opportunity.  NEO will be starting a Toastmasters Club to meet every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. starting on January 19, 2016<http://www.viethconsulting.com/Calendar/moreinfo.php?eventid=35672>.  You may attend every week or when it is convenient to your schedule.  In addition we have created Tuesday morning workshops to allow you to make a full day at NEO.
