*About the Presenters*

Brandi Young earned a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Ohio
University and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Kent
State. For the past two years, she has worked as an INFOhio Integration
Librarian (ILibrarian) with a focus on digital literacy. Prior to INFOhio,
Brandi taught high school English in Newark City Schools before moving into
a middle school library program there. From there, she moved onto
Westerville City Schools where she was an elementary school media
specialist for three buildings.
Angela Maxwell is a teacher librarian for the Beachwood City Schools in
Northeastern Ohio. She is passionate about the transformational role of
libraries in schools and the power technology brings to learning. Current
professional interests and goals include fostering formative assessment
practices using technology, genius hour, and information literacy and
developing a maker mindset in schools.
Dawn Rankin is the Instructional Coach and District Librarian for
Wapakoneta City Schools. She has spent most of the past 28 years in the
classroom, in six different Ohio public school districts, with roles as 4th
- 7th grade teacher, librarian/ media specialist, and gifted specialist.
She thrives on change, challenge, and creativity. Dawn is an avid reader
and enjoys sharing ideas on Twitter (@MrsRankinReads) and through her blog (
rankinfile1.blogspot.com).

Jennifer Flaherty is the school librarian at Beachwood High School in
Beachwood, Ohio.  Her passions include challenging students to
collaboratively solve problems, creating dialogue between staff and
students about books and literacy, and guiding students to be original,
critical thinkers.
