Position Available:

Branch Assistant @ Emerson R. Miller Library in Newark, Ohio (20 hours per week; $11.14 per hour; Not Benefit Eligible).

Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Branch Supervisor at the Emerson R. Miller Library in Newark, Ohio, the Branch Assistant assists customers in borrowing and using Library materials, services, and equipment; assists supervisor and /or branch library staff with planning and presenting programs and services for all ages; and assists customers with reader's advisory information as appropriate.

This is a part time position, 20 hours per week. A job offer will be conditional upon successful completion of a background check and meeting any other preconditions of employment. The successful candidate will work a varying schedule including evenings and weekends, Monday through Saturday. The successful candidate will be required to work additional hours on Sundays at the Main Library.
