Youth Services Specialist

The Delaware County District Library has an opening for a full time (40
hours per week) Youth Services Specialist to at the Main Library

position reports to the Youth Services Manager. Primary duties are
programming for children, working at the public services desk, creating
displays and some clerical tasks. (Complete job description

DCDL places a high value on friendly customer service and has an active
program of service to children, teens and parents. The successful candidate
will have a strong customer service focus, the ability to hold children’s
attention during programs, the ability to multi-task, and excellent verbal
communication skills. Bachelor’s degree required; experience working with
children and experience in libraries preferred.

Starting salary is $13.20 per hour. This is a full-time position and will
include working some evenings and occasional weekends. Download and print
