[OPLINLIST] The Librarian’s Guide to Homelessness - training discount for Ohio libraries through 10/15/16

Hello,

Some OLC Convention participants attended a mini-training with Ryan Dowd, creator of The Librarian’s Guide to Homelessness TM: Compassionate Tools for Reducing Problems, which was offered as a breakout session at Convention last week.

This mini-training was taken from the full online training, “Practical Tips for Difficult Homeless Patrons” at www.HomelessLibrary.com<http://www.HomelessLibrary.com>. Just released in August 2016, this training is already being used by 57 libraries across the United States and Canada. The full training includes a 90-minute core class and 60-minutes of bonus material.

The training can be purchased as:
•             A license for your whole library (Note: any library considering an annual subscription for their whole library is entitled to a one-week full trial access for one staff member.)
•             Groups of individual licenses for specific numbers of staff

In honor of the Ohio Library Council, any library in Ohio purchasing licenses before October 15, 2016 will receive 25% off the normal price of this training. You do not have to be an OLC member library, or have attended the OLC Convention, in order to qualify for this discount. Contact Ryan via the form on the HomelessLibrary.com website to inquire:
