Greetings Library Professionals.

SOTA is a great organization to be a part of.  SOTA’s mission is to provide professional development opportunities and resources to training professionals who coordinate, conduct, influence, and/or are involved with training and organizational development activities.

​Membership is free, any person desiring membership shall provide contact information and shall be a person actively engaged in or closely allied to training and development of individuals in the public or private sector. Members may be called upon to train or assist with Association events.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I was an active member of SOTA for 7 years.

Our monthly SOTA Partners meeting will be held on Friday, January 19 at The State Library of Ohio, 274 E 1st Ave, Columbus, OH 43201<https://maps.google.com/?q=274+E+1st+Ave,+Columbus,+OH+43201&entry=gmail&source=g> from 1-3:30 p.m.

Our host will be 2017 Reggie Award winner Raquel Dowdy-Cornute, newly retired from of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services. The topic this month is "Stay Interviews," a technique whereby you ask current employees why they continue to work for your organization (as opposed to an exit interview when it's too late to assist that employee with organizational concerns).
