The State Library of Ohio invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Library Administrator 2 located in Columbus, Ohio. This position serves as the agency's Associate State Librarian for Library Development and is responsible for administering and directing the operations of the Library Programs & Development Division (i.e., Library Services and Technology Act(LSTA), Statistics, Grants Administration, Professional Development and Consultation, Ohio Digital Library, & Ohio Digital Network). This position also coordinates State Library efforts encouraging public library participation in consortia (e.g., Serving Every Ohioan (SEO) Library Center, CLEVNET, & other statewide resource sharing consortia), administers and evaluates state and federal subsidy programs (e.g., LSTA & other grant opportunities), and acts as the primary contact and liaison to the Regional Library Systems.

The successful applicant will have their MLIS degree (preferred), at least 7 years' experience in a librarian position, extensive experience managing full-time, professional staff, and experience with budgets in excess of $3 million.
