[OPLINLIST] CSLP 2022 summer library program theme & artist announced! And... another survey!

The Collaborative Summer Library Program is pleased to announce that the winning theme for 2022, based on a poll of all member states, is:
Change the World/Social Justice/Unity/Kindness/Inclusion/Change/Diversity/Equity/Make a difference/Embrace different cultures

The CSLP is also happy to announce that the artist for the 2022 program will be Sophie Blackall<http://www.sophieblackall.com/books>.

The CSLP is grateful for the investment of thousands of librarians around the USA who suggested themes and who participated in voting for themes. I'm very appreciative that hundreds of Ohio librarians and library specialists have participated. Your time and creativity are valuable and your opinions are important.


Now the CSLP is again soliciting input from the library community, to develop slogan ideas for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 program years. Themes provide framework, but it is the slogan that animates the program. In 2018, the theme is Music and the slogan is "Libraries Rock!" In 2019, the theme will be Space and the slogan will be "A Universe of Stories". Note that the CSLP is now developing one slogan across all age groups for each program.

Help CSLP create outstanding summer library programs for the coming years by suggesting a slogan for 2020, 2021, and/or 2022. The best slogans are thought-provoking, versatile, exciting, and accessible to all libraries.

Slogans should reflect these themes:
2020: Fairytales, Mythology, Fantasy (Artist: LeUyen Phan<http://www.leuyenpham.com/>)
2021: Animals (zoo/farm/pets/nature/exotic/habitats/wildlife/safari) (Artist: Salina Yoon<http://www.salinayoon.com/HOME.html>)
2022: Change the World/Social Justice/Unity/Kindness/Inclusion/Change/Diversity/Equity/Make a difference/Embrace different cultures (Artist: Sophie Blackall<http://www.sophieblackall.com/books>)

Multiple staff members from your library may respond to this survey. Each respondent should complete the survey separately. Any respondent may submit the survey more than once if they have additional slogans to suggest. Only public library staff members should complete the survey, but you are encouraged to ask your patrons, poll your TAB or other advisory groups, and gather ideas from the community however you wish.
