ADULT SERVICES LIBRARIAN
(Full-Time - 40 hours/week)


Rocky River Public Library, a vibrant and innovative independent medium-sized public library in suburban Cleveland, Ohio; seeks an Adult Services Librarian to deliver excellent service through reader's advisory, programming and collection development. Under minimal supervision, responsible for interpreting patrons' requests for information and utilizing Library resources to meet their informational, educational and recreational needs.

Master's of Library Science or Library Information Sciences degree required. 2-3 years of experience in a public library adult reference department environment is preferred. Desirable qualifications include, and preference will be given to, experience in adult programming, collection development, and acquisitions/ordering materials. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff are necessary. Candidates should be good listeners and communicators, present a positive attitude, and place top priority on customer service. Flexible schedule includes Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings.

The pay range for this position is $17.54/hr. - $26.31/hr.
