Hi,
We have had LCD monitors out for about 4 months on our Internet PCs and
a little over a month on our patron PAC terminals. We haven't had any
problems so far. They take up less space and look nice.

When we put the monitors out on the Internet PCs, we did not change the
CPUs. However, several patrons remarked how much they liked our new
computers and how much faster they were than the old ones!

We also recently started using touch screen LCD monitors at our staff
workstations. (The patron monitors are not touch screen.)

Has anyone deployed LCD monitors to your public access computers? If
so, how much of a beating do they take? Also, how often do you find
that you have to have them repaired and/or replaced due to screen damage?

Thanks!
