[OPLINTECH] Software Firewalls

FWIW, in past years, I've occasionally used Zone Alarm from Zone Labs
(www.zonelabs.com) on pre-Windows XP machines. It is a good and
comprehensive personal firewall. At that time, however, I wasn't
firewalling all individual workstations. Now, if faced with firewalling
a large number of pre-XP workstations, I would look first to open source
software (although I haven't yet and can't suggest any specific projects
for Windows personal firewalls) before recommending software that needed
to be purchased.
