Office of Information Technology Customer Update - January 5, 2006


Emergency Maintenance Completed: Thursday, January 5, 2006 : 5:30am

OIT engineers replaced a processor module on a core ATM switch.  After
further testing, it was determined that the network was not stable.
Instead of risking the potential for another network outage, the
hardware configuration was rolled back.  

OIT engineers are continuing to work with Cisco's Technical Assistance
Center in an attempt to resolve the issue.
