[OPLINTECH] switching to Macs - security?

If anyone out there has switched to Apple Macs for your public PCs, or even
just added some for public use, I'd appreciate knowing what you do to lock
them down. Accounts of personal experience and/or pointers to useful
information welcome.

We're Mac newbies here, but seeing more and more interest from the public.
We're also tired of endless (and sometimes-malfucntioning) MSFT patches.
