OK...I didn't recommend this company because I have had some
professional dealings with them but PDF995 has a free version that will
let you do it...  http://www.pdf995.com/download.html

Jim,

I know that works... up to a point. But, a lot of the formatting is
lost in the copy/paste operation.

Well if you have word installed on your PC you are home free. All you
need to do is open the pdf in Adobe (even the free version) use the
select tool and select it all. Copy it to the clipboard and open a word
document and past it into the document and save as a word doc. Assuming
it works just fine in Wordpad also.

I have the opposite request. Is there a program (again perferrably
free) that will take a pdf file and convert it to other formats such as
Microsoft Word without losing formatting such as bolds, italics,
underlines, tab positions, hanging indents, line spacing, margins,
alignments, justifications, etc?

Thanks,

	Hello,
Do any of you use applications (preferrably free) on your public
PCs that allow patrons to convert various documents into PDF??

I have a specific problem with Microsoft Publisher, but would
like to allow that patrons to convert any document into PDF to email,
etc....

	Thanks,
