[OPLINTECH] GCPL: Best YA software

Thanks to all who responded about CD emulation software. I chose Far
Stone, which was cheap, and so far appears easy to use.

Next year I plan to replace our children's computers with the systems
from AWE, so I'm creating a gap between the 4th graders and the MySpace,
Runescape crowd.

The next step, obviously, is to load up some young adult-orientated
software. The computer I'm building will be for 8 to 12 year olds, and
now I have:

*	Office
*	Oregon Trail
*	Mario teaches typing
*	Body Works
*	Carmen World
*	Carmen Time
*	I Spy Spooky Mansion; and
*	Some younger games which came for the Gates computers

It appears that the best selling teen and pre-teen games are simulation
games like the Tycoon series, The Movies, or amazingly enough Civ. I
figure issues with any of these type games are time and the ability to
save a game so I'm working in the flash drive direction for that.

All this being said, would anyone like to share a list of the software
they have loaded for teens and pre-teens?

TIA!

Have a happy holiday!
