[OPLINTECH] Cymphonix network composer

Is anyone using Cymphonix network composer to regulate network traffic
and filter Internet access? We installed one about two years ago and
are interested in hearing about others experiences with the unit.

We are especially interested in:

1) filtering - does it filter enough or too much; are there a lot of
false blocks or do unsuitable sites get through;

2) IP assignment - our current set-up appears to assign a permanent IP
to anyone who logs in to our wireless network which quickly eats up our
user licenses. We have to manually remove the licenses to clear up
access for new users on a regular basis. This doesn't seem right to me.
Surely there is a better way to handle transient users of our network.

Any comments or information would be greatly appreciated. I'll
apologize in advance if I'm not explaining things clearly. I'm just an
old librarian trying my best to keep things running and definitely not
an IT expert.

TIA,
