Collective brain...

My director needs a high-quality, high-speed, low-cost document scanning
solution. Something that will produce high-res scans that can be edited
with excellent OCR software that works for both Mac and PC. Preferably
something portable to move from desk to desk. (e.g. Cheap, Fast and Good
on the Triangle of Pick Two. Stop sniggering.)

We're currently looking at an IRIScan Anywhere2 Portable Scanner.

Anyone have any thoughts? Can anyone trump that device?
