Couple thoughts.

Interesting article on HP today.      Anything to worry about ?

Thin clients might be completely down during a server failure.

We had 5 thin clients tied to openSUSE Education for years with very few problems.
Only 1 now, as changed to 4 AWE Stations

We have used DeepFreeze for patron PC's and laptops for many years.
Does take more time to do upgrades, compared to one server.

Future upgrades may be a server & thin clients instead of just a few PC's.
