Hi Becky,

I don't know what ILS you use. We use Polaris which has a self-check module. The only thing we had to buy was touchscreen monitors. We bought ours from Planar and they're doing pretty well. Patrons can pay fines, check-out and renew items through them.

Hello,

We are looking at new self-checkout stations.  If you have one that
works well, or have had any good or bad experiences with any particular
vendors or models, I would appreciate any information. We plan to use
them in both adult and children's areas.  We do have SIP2 service on our
automation system, which is remotely hosted by TLC, and we use regular
bar codes not RFID.
