[OPLINTECH] Got an unusual question

Sounds like a hardware-type issue to me - perhaps a shorted circuit on 
the keyboard. Otherwise a possibly flaky firmware. In any event, more 
like a warranty repair (if covered) or trip to an authorized HP service
