Hi Becky

> Do you allow 'guest' access and what are the criteria?
Yes we allow guest access. We look up their name to make sure they don't
have a library card. We don't allow anyone under 17 to have a guest pass.

>
> Is there any difference in time limits or anything else for guests?
Guests have the same privileges as regular patrons.

>
> How do you handle juveniles?
Juvies cannot get on the 10 Adult PCs. We have 10 PCs for all ages and 5
PCs for teens (13-17). Everyone has the same time limit and use the same
web filter policy.

> staff have to make judgment calls for any reason?
We limit usage based on fees. If they have $25 or more they cannot use a
computer. A parent may remove a child's internet privilege.

>

> anything else?
We have 4 AWEs (children computers with software). Not connected to the
internet. All other PCs are connected to the internet.

>
> Is there anything else I haven't mentioned that needs consideration?
We have an open Wi-fi that is up 24/7 with a web filter. So a patron who
can't use our PCs because of fines can bring in their device and get on
the internet.
