[OPLINTECH] Windows update

Kevin,

I used to have this issue all the time with deep freeze and Win 7. In order
to fix the issue, I needed to uninstall deep freeze, then run sfc /scannow.
This usually told me if there was an issue beyond the update.

I fixed the update issue by stopping the update service through
services.msc, then renaming the windows\SoftwareDistribution folder to
Windows\SoftwareDisributionOLD. You can then restart the windows update
service or simply restart the computer. If it's been a few months since the
last update, the process of finding updates may take an hour or so. Below
is a link for a full description of the repair.

Hopefully this helps you.
