Wednesday at Skyline a friend, Art, told about a brand new scam he was hit with.

He got an email from UPS saying a package was to be delivered to him.

Day or 2 later a large flat screen TV arrived from Best Buy.
All the paperwork was correct with his name, address, phone number etc.

He checked his credit card and there was the charge.
He cancelled his card, took the TV to Best Buy and got a credit.

Next day a FedEx guy came asking to pick the TV up.

Art got all the info from the driver and the return address was in NYC.

Westerville police said this was a brand new scam to them.
As Art was just back from Florida they figure someone at the hotel got all the
info for the scam.

If Art hadn't been on the situation some one in NYC would have had a free TV.
