Jeff,

  Attached are the pages from the user manual describing manual color
calibration (white balance)

o   On Colorchecker , set black to 54 and white to 245.

o   Enable ICC conversion to AdobeRGB1998  (scanner and output)

o   Gamma set to .45

.         I saved a calibration on Tuesday (.1*)  and left a copy of the
latest user manual on the desktop.  I2S recommends not using the automatic
color calibration.

Barry, 

Bart was onsite yesterday and updated the i2S software. Don Williams
reviewed the images and reported success  . . . .

"NOW that's better....much better! These are so much better than before,
especially the tone scale response. Be sure you get proper instructions on
how they calibrated in order to achieve that response".

I will sign the acceptance form and process the payment. Please have Bart
send me an email summarizing the steps to calibrate the unit.

I2S did confirm that the A0 600 DPI patch was ready and that they would be
sending it to me on Monday.  So I would like to install the patch and
capture some sample images to send to Don Williams for verification.
