[DPLAsteering] Working group recommendations report

The end of the month is already upon us-where did April go?  Thanks to the
working group chairs who reviewed the last drafts, those of you who still
need to do so, please let me know when you've revised and finalized them.
In the meantime, the draft agenda for our meeting Friday morning has been
posted.  The first item is the draft report of the final recommendations
report.  

 

Attached is the draft report.  Some of you will see that the wording has
changed from your recommendations.  These changes were made to

--update terminology, for example we're not using DPLA Ohio, the project
title is now being called Buckeye State Network

--digi-hubs are being called digitization hubs

--we tried to normalize terminology across the different reports

 

Many of your recommendations included specific activities to implement your
recommendation, we removed many of these.  We left in the explanation of the
governance structure, including details on the CEC's however I would
recommend removing that as it makes the report quite long.  I look for
comments on that.
