I actually spoke with Mary Sauer-Games from OCLC yesterday and told her that probably the recommendation from the technology working group was to go with RePox because it was proven technology in use, but the final determination was not yet solidified. So she knows what’s coming, although I did say that over the course of the three year pilot opportunities may arise to work together.

You can perhaps replace it on the agenda with “seemingly credible rumors that Gwen heard at the ICOLC (International Coalition of Library Consortia) about DPLA and state hubs.” Sorry, but don’t want to discuss it in writing. It should not change anything we have recommended.

1.       Working groups Final report document, which summarizes the recommendations and links to the working groups final reports. —Tom/Liz

Objective:

·        Comments

·        What happens next with the report, including distribution/ notification of the availability of the report

2.       OCLC proposal disposition—Angela/Missy/Gwen

Objective:  Determine who will notify OCLC that we’re proceeding with REPOX at this point and that we will be monitoring the aggregation environment over the next several years

3.       DPLAfest highlights—Angela/Janet/Missy/Katrina/Liz

Objective:  Provide brief highlights on DPLAfest, including update on discussion with Emily regarding Ohio’s application, what we discovered regarding funding strategies and DPLA’s plans for their sustainability plans.

4.       Ohio DPLA Application timeline:  Missy/Liz

5.       Transitioning from Steering Committee to Executive Committee—Missy/Angela/Stephen
Objective:  Formation of Executive Committee—Who will serve on the Exec Committee; Timeline for new Exec Committee.  Potential all day CEC meeting.  Thanks to all who have served
