Call for Papers
23rd Annual
Ohio Valley History Conference
October 18-20, 2007 Western Kentucky University
The 23rd Annual Ohio Valley History Conference (OVHC), sponsored by
Western's history department, will be held on the campus of Western
Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on October 18-20, 2007. While
the founding colleges of the OVHC come from the Ohio Valley region,
conference topics include a broad range of subjects from across the
profession. So, while we welcome topics of local interest, subjects outside
of Ohio Valley history are especially encouraged, as are interdisciplinary
panels.
Proposals for individual papers as well as complete sessions are invited in
all areas of historical studies. Abstracts for papers should be
approximately 200 words, typed, and single-spaced. Both paper presenters
and individuals interested in serving as moderators and/or discussants
should send a vita to the OVHC Coordinator. All such material should be
received no later than June 1, 2007. The Program Committee will announce
selections and send out hotel information by July 1, 2001.
Address all inquiries and abstracts to:
