Save the date for the next quarterly meeting of OhioDIG

archivists, librarians, and allied professionals. All are welcome to attend!

Date: Friday, November 9, 2007, 11:15 am-1 pm.

Program: "Moving Image Digitization for the Small Shop"

Speakers: Matt & Nikki Swift, of Nicolettecinemgraphics 
(http://www.nicolettecinemagraphics.com/); MLIS expected 12/07, from Kent 
State University School of Library and Information Science.

Host: Angela O'Neal, Ohio Historical Society.

Lunch: Brown bag. Beverages will be provided.

Site: Ohio Historical Center, Classroom 1&2, 1982 Velma Ave, Columbus, 
Ohio. It's located just off of I-71 on 17th Ave (exit 111) about 4 miles 
north of downtown Columbus. Classroom 1&2 are on the ground level just 
beyond the gift shop. Parking tokens (needed to exit the parking lot) will 
be available to attendees.

OhioDIG (http://www.ohiodig.org/), the Ohio digitization interest group for 
archivists, librarians, and allied professionals, meets quarterly in the 
central Ohio area for presentations and networking.  Meetings are usually 
"brown bag" and run 11:15 am-1 pm. There is no membership fee and no charge 
to attend meetings. All are welcome! Upcoming meetings are announced (and 
RSVP's requested) through the OhioDIG Listserv. For more information on a 
specific meeting, contact that meeting's host.
