The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) means billions of dollars in new grant opportunities for nonprofit organizations, counties, and municipalities. That short-term stimulus package, however, is only a part of the overall federal grantmaking effort. More than $300 billion in federal grants are awarded each year.
Competing for Federal Grants will equip you with the skills you need to develop proposals that will be competitive at the national level.

We'll use recent application guidelines and funded proposals for presentations, classroom discussion, and hands-on activities. If you're planning to respond to a particular set of application guidelines, we encourage you to bring the guidelines with you to class, so you can use them in the week's exercises.
During the training, you'll develop a workplan for proposal development, write key proposal sections, review proposals drafted by your peers, and have your own work reviewed by others.
To ensure personalized attention, the class size is limited to 25 participants.
After completing this training program, you will receive all the benefits of The Grantsmanship Center Alumni Membership for one full year at no charge.

* Assess, realistically, whether it makes sense to enter a particular competition

Tuition for Competing for Federal Grants is $1195 ($1095 for early registration). If we receive your payment 30 days prior to the start of the workshop, you will qualify for the early registration discount.
