CALL FOR PAPERS
OHIO ACADEMY OF HISTORY
ANNUAL MEETING
CAPITAL UNIVERSITY
COLUMBUS, OHIO
26-27 March 2010
The Ohio Academy of History seeks papers from scholars in all fields of
history, including World, Latin American, African, Asian, European, as
well as American.
Papers may deal with subjects in any area or time period. Those
focusing on historiography, methodology, pedagogy, and public history
are also welcome.
Proposals may consist of individual papers or sessions organized around
a common theme. The Academy welcomes discussion panels. Sessions
generally include three papers (20 minutes each), a chair, and a
commentator. The best papers will be refereed for publication in
the Academy's Proceedings.
Proposals should include:
-- a title
-- a 150-word abstract of each paper
-- a short biography, resume, or curriculum vita of each participant
-- relevant telephone numbers
-- e-mail and mailing addresses
Historians interested in serving as session chairs/commentators are
encouraged to contact the Program Committee chair below with information
about their area(s) of expertise.
Proposals should be submitted by 13 November 2009 to
