This is your last chance to register!   This one-day workshop will
explore how to plan for the unexpected to help your institution identify
risks, mitigate damage to collections, and keep staff and visitors safe
should disaster strike.

*	Before Disaster Strikes: Assessing & Mitigating Risks
*	Crisis Communication 
*	Staff Training and Exercising the Plan 
*	Disaster Scenario Exercise
*	Practical Decision-Making

 

This program is intended for staff charged with collections care,
including librarians, archivists, curators, collections managers,
conservators, stewards of historic house museums, and for staff
responsible for the safety of collections, such as site and facility
managers. (Take advantage of discounts for a 2nd registrant from the
same institution!)

 

Program Fees: $95 for CCAHA member institutions/$110 for non-member
institutions/$75 for 2nd registrant from same institution 

 

Location: Ash Lawn-Highland, Home of President James Monroe,
Charlottesville, Virginia 

 

The Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA), the professional certifying
organization for the archives field, will award 5 Accreditation
Recertification Credits (ARCs) to eligible Certified Archivists (CAs)
attending this program.
