[SOA] KSU Libraries Read Assistantship

The Gerald H. and Victoria C. T. Read Assistantship is a graduate appointment made by Special Collections and Archives<http://www.library.kent.edu/specialcollections>, a department of the Kent State University Libraries<http://www.library.kent.edu>. The assistantship is available to a full-time Master’s-level graduate student enrolled in the Kent State University School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) who displays an interest in special collections and archives librarianship while exhibiting a high level of scholarship and academic excellence. The award is merit-based, not need-based, and includes a stipend plus tuition remission.
Please note: For the 2012/2013 Academic Year, two Read Graduate Assistantships will be awarded.
Eligibility
The student must be enrolled full-time (as of the 2012/13 academic year), be in good academic standing, and have at least one full academic year remaining in completion of his or her SLIS Master’s program.
