Subject: MAC Announcement - MAC Speakers Bureau

Dear MAC members,

In April, MAC Council voted to create a small endowment (from existing funds) that would support new and continuing educational programming. Our first initiative supported by these monies is a two year pilot project to create a Speakers Bureau, which will offer affordable and high quality workshops requested by our members, allied professionals and others. The Speakers Bureau will be evaluated after the initial two year project, with hopes that it can be refined and offered on a long-term basis.

Speakers will receive a small stipend and travel reimbursement. Organizations or groups requesting a workshop will pay a nominal fee and can invite as many attendees as they wish.

Please see more details about topics of interest at the link below. And, please consider (and encourage others to consider) becoming a speaker in this program. We are excited to have you participate!!

Sincerely, Ellen

MAC Speakers Bureau
