Dear Friend:

Please join Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 for a celebration of the newly established Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument, which was established by President Obama on March 25, 2013.  The monument will preserve the home of Colonel Charles Young, a distinguished officer in the United States Army who was the third African American to graduate from West Point and the first to achieve the rank of Colonel.  The monument, located in Wilberforce, Ohio, will be managed by the Department of the Interior's National Park Service.
