[SOA] Volunteers needed at SOA information tables

SOA is looking for volunteers to help at “Career Exploration: Information
and Library Professions” events sponsored by Kent State University.  There
are two locations, and SOA has a table at each location.  Volunteering
would involve greeting students and answering questions, providing
information about SOA and the archives profession, and handing out
membership brochures and other information.  All handouts and information
will be provided.  We need volunteers for:

Kent location (Kent Student Center Ballroom) – Tuesday, October 1, 6:30–8
p.m.

Columbus location (State Library of Ohio) – Thursday, October 3, 6:30–8 p.m.

Volunteers can work partial shifts.  Please contact Emily Gainer at
erlockh at uakron.edu to volunteer for the Kent location, and Jillian Carney
at jcarney at ohiohistory.org to volunteer for the Columbus location.
