Good morning, everyone! The Committee on Archives and Public Policy (CAPP)
has been working recently on a request to Council that SAA review certain
specifically archival aspects of the controversial NSA mass surveillance
program. Frank Boles of CAPP will be coming to our Roundtable's business
meeting on August 15th at the Annual Meeting to discuss the document.

The document, together with the initial memo (which Sarah and I helped
write) that inspired this review request, is attached here for you to look
at. We hope that you'll be there at the Annual Meeting for the discussion!
