Job Description-WSU Public History Program Student Internship Available

The Greene County Records Center and Archives can offer a paid internship in Xenia during the fall of 2015.

The intern will work approximately 20 hours per week and earn $12 an hour.  The hours will be arranged to fit the needs of the Archives as well as the academic schedule of the intern.  The primary project that the student will participate in is processing and preparing Estate records for microfilming.  This includes removing staples, flattening, and cleaning documents.  The intern will also participate in a wide range of archival tasks and projects assigned by the archivist.  These may include reference, conservation, digitization, social media outreach, records management, attending administrative meetings, and other tasks that arise during the course of the internship.

The Greene County Archivist and the Director of the Wright State University Public History Program will confer during the internship to discuss the intern's work.
