A focus group on Continuing Education/Professional Development needs 
across the Archives, Library, and Museum communities will be held at the 
Society of American Archivists’ conference on Thursday, August 20 from 
Noon-2 p.m. at the Cleveland Convention Center (Room TBD).

The focus group, sponsored by the Coalition to Advance Learning in 
Archives, Libraries, and Museums, http://coalitiontoadvancelearning.org/ 
will discuss key education issues for archives and other types of 
cultural heritage institutions. The findings will inform the Coalition’s 
work to gather information about the needs across these communities.
