Pre-registration for the one-day workshop, "Worth a Thousand Words: A Global Perspective on Image Description, Discovery, and Access" on 15 August 2016, at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum on the Ohio State University campus, is now open here: http://go.osu.edu/RBSCImages

This one-day workshop, an off-site session of the IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC), is sponsored by the IFLA Rare Books and Special Collections Section and the IFLA Art Libraries Section. The workshop is free and attendees are not required to register for the IFLA Congress.
