[SOA] SOA has endorsed the History Relevance Campaign

SOA Colleagues,

Following the keynote presentation at the OLHA & SOA fall conference 
about (among other programs) the History Relevance Campaign by John 
Dichtl, the ED of the American Association for State and Local History 
(AASLH) in early October, SOA Council met and decided to endorse the 
program's "value of history" statement <www.historyrelevance.com>. The 
paperwork has now been completed and our name and logo are posted on the 
site's list of endorsing groups.

Take a look around the site and look for ways you can apply the 
campaign's efforts and impact to your work. And take a gander of the 
variety of groups that have joined. Let us know if you have questions.
