Sen. Brown invites arts institutions, museums, and libraries in Ohio to attend grant seminars on Wednesday, June 8th in Cincinnati and Columbus, and Thursday, June 9th in Cleveland. The seminars, which will include presentations from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Ohio Arts Council, will provide information on applying for grant programs administered by those agencies. Brown's office is partnering with the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and the Community Partnerships for Arts and Culture to present the seminars.
"I am delighted that Senator Brown is providing the opportunity for libraries, museums, and arts institutions to learn more about grant funding that may be available to them. Applying for grants can be a daunting process but grants can be an excellent way for libraries and other organizations to obtain funding to expand or offer new services and programs," said State Librarian Beverly Cain. "These Grants for the Arts Seminars offer a great opportunity to learn about the availability of grants as well as information about the application process."
The seminars will be held at the following locations June 8th and 9th.
