American History & Civics Academies Grants Availability
The US Department of Education has announced the availability of grants for the American History and Civics Academies Programs.  The grants will fund the establishment of: (1) Presidential Academies for the Teaching of American History and Civics that offer workshops for both veteran and new teachers to strengthen their knowledge of American history and civics; and (2) Congressional Academies for Students of American History and Civics that provide High School Students with opportunities to develop a broader and deeper understanding of these subjects. NCH Unveils New Marketing Tools
The National Coalition for History has released two marketing tools designed to showcase the organization's major accomplishments to prospective and existing members.  The first is an updated infographic, available on NCH's website, that highlights achievements, a list of NCH members, and contact information.  We also now have available a "mini infographic" that is easily sharable through e-mail and social media.
