*We Need State Contest Judges!*

Each year, more than 450+ students participate in the State Contest! To
make it as successful as possible, we need over 100+ judges. We hope you'll
consider being one!

*Date*: Saturday, April 22
*Location*: Ohio Wesleyan University | 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware, OH

*How Do I Sign Up?*
To sign up, follow these easy steps:

   1. Visit the State Contest
   <https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=1e01fe77e6&e=8c12d0e24e>
   portal.
   2. Create a *new *judge account, answer a few questions, specify a
   category preference and we'll take it from there. No category preference,
   no problem! We'll find a category that needs your help.

*How Does Judging Work?*
Approximately one (1) week prior to the scheduled contest date (April 22),
you'll receive an email detailing your judge assignments and category
information. You'll also receive training on how to judge using
the evaluation forms and contest rules. We'll also provide you with
detailed information about what to expect in-person the day of the contest.

*What Will I Need?*
To be a judge, you'll need an email address, internet access and a personal
device such as a computer or tablet (for accessing entries and providing
feedback). If you don't have a device, let us know during registration and
we can provide one!
