This position helps coordinate and implement registration aspects for objects on display in BICLM's permanent and temporary exhibition spaces. This position advises and adheres to best practices for collection care. Additionally, this position supports and coordinates with other Exhibitions staff for tasks including creating and managing loan tracking documents, providing updates to other museum staff on loan requests, and logistics related to traveling exhibitions.

Responsibilities

* Track exhibition and loan history in database for museum objects.
* Coordinate tasks including, but not limited to: traveling exhibition schedules, content delivery, ordering supplies, maintaining budgets, preparing and maintaining documentation on all exhibition loans.
* Establish and nurture strong working relationships with museum staff, colleagues from other institutions, consultants, and vendors.
* Work closely with staff such as curators, preparators, collection managers, and outside personnel (such as art shipping companies) in the coordination, scheduling, and monitoring of the safe movements of objects.

This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours.
