We have a patron who is searching for a book. She is absolutely sure =
(!) that the word "river" is in the title. She says that, on the first =
page, a girl is in a barn, milking a cow, and gives birth to a baby. We =
have wracked our collective brains-- Jodi Picoult immediately springs to =
mind, but our patron says the book is not about the Amish. I searched =
Novelist to no avail, and we have searched our collection.
Can anyone help? Please reply to me off list.
